Season 3 Episode 4: CASE: Closed

With Adam dead now, Mike and Nick find themselves being sued by Adam’s parents for wrongful death of their son. After consulting with a lawyer about what to do, our two protagonists decide to raid a meth lab down the street from Nick’s house. After seeing how much money they got from the lab inspires Nick to have them start their own meth lab to make more money.
This episode continues to prove why season 3 is my favorite of the three seasons of the show. Nick and Mike are in top form in this episode, delivering quick one-liners and jokes at a machine gun pace. Whether it’s Nick immediately assuming his court summons is related to his various mentioned child murders, the ridiculous commercial for the lawyer they hire, the throwback to the assassination of Freezzze and his attempts at cooking meth with little more than a paper face mask are hilarious.
Storyline Update:
After being sued by Adam’s parents for causing their son’s death, Mike and Nick decide to raid a meth lab up the street from Nick’s house. Unbeknownst to Nick, Mike is told by their lawyer that there was a mistake and only Nick is being sued, but is advised to continue to play along with Nick to keep him from going crazy. Nick then suggests to Mike that they start a meth lab themselves to make more money.
Final Thoughts:
Overall, a very good episode that continues to deliver the laughs.
